Our Electrotherapy workshop is ideal for therapists wishing to add alternative treatment modalities to their current hands-on skills.
Electrotherapy has been used for many decades to treat many soft tissue conditions, and with most of it evidence based, it has become even more popular with Sports Therapists.
Covers the following modalities
- Ultrasound – 1MHz and 3 MHz
- Electrical Stimulation – Faradism and Interferential
- TENS
- Pulsed Magnetic Therapy
Due to the nature of this course, early booking is advised as there will be pre-course reading materials sent, to enable you get a basic understanding of the principles of the modalities, before attending. Please allow at least two weeks prior to the workshop date.
This course is suitable for candidates with level 4 or above sports massage/therapy qualifications.
